DEMAND LIFE SAVING SKILLS IN OUR SCHOOLS
Posted: Tue, 09 Apr 2013
As you know, a key aim of the Joe Humphries Memorial Trust is to promote education and training for young people into how to react to unexpected life threatening situations.
The best way of achieving this aim is to have CPR taught in every school in England as part of the National Curriculum.
The Government has reviewed the content of the National Curriculum, and is now consulting on its proposals. Currently they have not committed to teach life-saving skills to every child.
This Consultation gives us an opportunity to influence the Government's decision and let them know that no child should miss out on learning how to save a life.
Support JHMT's campaign, alongside that of the British Heart Foundation, to have CPR skills taught at every school in England.
Please follow the link below to the British Heart Foundation's web site and use their link and guidance to fill out the on-line consultation form.
