A 'Champion' fundraising effort by young athletes from the Leicester Coritanian Athletics Club was duly recognised on Tuesday evening. The annual Christmas fun run raised a record £700 to support the work of JHMT to reduce the incidence of sudden, unexpected death in young people due to subtle heart diseases like SADS. JHMT's Young Person's ambassador Jess Keeling joined athletes and club reps to hear the announcement of the fantastic achievement and received a cheque for JHMT from GB athlete Eden Francis with super fundraisers from the club who with colleagues all went the extra mile.
