Gateley UK launches Inspire Awards in style

Gateley UK kicked off the launch of the Inspire Awards with an unforgettable evening dinner at Leicester Tigers Rugby stadium.
The response to the event has been quite overwhelming. The Journey of the Trust from its foundation in tragedy, through its amazing medical initiatives and now the Inspire Awards programme captivated and touched our guests. We were treated to some fascinating speeches from not only the trusts Patron, Martin Johnson, but also Southampton Legend, Lawrie McMenemy, with a reflective yet entertaining Q&A session with Joe's dad – Steve. We also had a thought provoking speech from Dr Mike Ferguson who raised the important medical issues of SADS. The event not only raised crucial funds but provoked an enthusiasm to get involved in some way. It was a night out in which we are confident will live long in the memory.
Steve Humphries – JHMT chair said:
'We couldn't have wished for a better turn out and response to lift off Joe's Inspire Awards scheme for young people. We are truly indebted to Gateley UK and the efforts of so many generous and kind hearted people who have worked so hard to develop the small grants scheme.
One of the hardest pills to swallow for all of us is knowing we'll never see Joe fulfil his potential but with the input and support from Leicestershire business and others, Joe's legacy can help many other inspirational young people from Leicester and Leicestershire be the best they can be.'
