There isn’t a mountain high enough to stop Joe’s army from ‘breaking the Silence’ on SADS

Thanks! on this occasion to Dr Alastair Sandilands, a consultant cardiologist at Glenfield Hospital. Alistair you may recall set off recently on a four-day ride through the Swiss Alps to help raise funds for JHMT. It was mission accomplished as Alastair completed every part of the cycling trip covering nearly 400km in the 31/2 days with over 8,000 meters climbing.
Alastair said:
' At times it was very hard as the gradients went up to 14%. Some of the rides we completed are in this year's Criterium de Dauphine which is the prelude to the Tour de France. The views were breathtaking and I absolutely enjoyed every minute. I am glad to raise money for a very worthy cause.'
Dr Sandilands investigates and treats arrhythmias – irregular heart patterns – and is closely involved with the work of the trust.
