Students showcase their creative media skills to help JHMT raise awareness of sudden, unexpected death in young people (SADS)
A group of Lower 6th) STUDENTS from Robert Smyth Academy, Market Harbourgh, presented their media campaign ideas a small panel of reps from Joe's Trust to help JHMT raise awareness of sudden, unexpected death in young people ( SADS ).
Steve Humphries, chair of JHMT, said : 'It was great to see the different approaches taken to get key messages across about the silent killer, Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS). The standard of work was very high and I hope the students use put their work to good use both inside Robert Smyth Academy and the Market Harborough community next year and in particular during SADS Awareness Week in October 2015.'
The project brief included research, questionnaires, surveys, interviews, identifying any gap in knowledge and producing a story for a TV advert and a series of campaign posters
