Forewarned is Forearmed: Harshil Dhutia, Consultant Cardiologist, Glenfield Hospital UHL, Medical lead for JHMT delivered the annual SADS in Sport Talk to young students on the Sport England, Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS)/Dual Career programme at Loughborough College.
The talk focused on the underlying heart conditions like SADS that can effect athletes and those who participate in high level and regular sport and physical activities in the community.
This was then followed by a practical 'HANDS ON' CPR and how to use an AED session for the TASS students with JHMT's Alan White. Read More »

A COMMUNITY cricket club has installed a new defibrillator with the support of JHMT.
Leicester Ivanhoe Cricket Club, together with Leicester Forest East Tennis Club and the Old Newtonians Rugby Club, has funded the new public access defibrillator ( PAD).
