On the 24th of June I travelled to the international childrens games in Alkmaar, Netherlands with 7 other swimmers from Leicester. I competed in four events and made finals in all.
I achieved 2 new personal bests in the 50m butterfly 29.84 and 100m butterfly 1.05.86 and I narrowly missed out on a medal in both as I came 4th in both events in the finals, it was a bit frustrating as it was so close but I am very happy with the times I achieved. It was a fantastic experience and I got to meet other swimmers from different countries, so thank you once again for supporting me.
