My name is Jess O'Brien and I am a young filmmaker, based in Leicester. Currently, I am in the process of creating a documentary about S.A.D.S, for the trust.

In April this year, I was awarded the 'Lord Lieutenants Artist of the Year' award which is sponsored by JHMT. The award was for my film Coping, about a young girl who looses her two best friends to a car accident. Shortly after this, I applied for some funding for a new camera which was generously granted by the trust.

In return for this over the course of this month, I am creating a documentary called 'Time', which features a section on Joe's story and interviews with members of the public, teachers and pupils of a school and a cardiac physician on CPR and AED's.

In my next blog, I plan to discuss the process I went through while making the film and what we hope to do with it in the future.
