December has not turned out how I imagined to say the least. On Friday 9 December I was admitted to the LRI with severe abdominal pain. Extensive tests resulted in surgery which has meant that I will be out of the water for 4-5 weeks. I am disappointed to miss the SC Nationals and my England Talent camp after training hard. But short term loss, long term gain. Recuperating over Christmas and reassessing my goals for the season. Looking forward to getting back to fitness, back in the pool early 2017.
