Having packed up the bikes into the camper van we had rented along with all the kit we needed for the support crew and the kit we needed for Scafell Pike, we set off for Ravenglass in the Lake District. 6 hours, a read of my book and many games of cards later and we arrived. It was a lovely campsite. We pumped the tyres on the bikes up, checked the brakes and gears and prepared everything for the ride in the morning. Eventually Uncle Chris, Auntie Jack and Arthur arrived and they set their caravan up.

We all got to sleep early and tried to get as much sleep in as we could for the early start in the morning.

6 Months of training had led up to tomorrow morning.
