New Season, New Me

Following last seasons selection for the ICT I am more motivated to try harder and be better than before!
The hard work has payed off as seen by the results I have achieved, only a month into this years season... My successes are as follows:
- Winning the plate in the Senior Leicestershire Restricted (beating all the players up to the age of 19)
- Winning the gold medal in the singles in an U19 Silver in Nottingham (aged only 15!)
- Reaching the quarter finals in doubles and singles in a senior tournament in Worcester (I was the youngest player in the the senior tournament with players ranging from 20-40)
I am hoping to be selected for the ICT again this season and play well for Leicestershire and improve my rankings in all three disciplines(Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles).
This year I am also juggling my GCSE studies with badminton training. I have my mocks coming up in 2 weeks time with my actual exams in May/June 2019. What with my long training hours it can sometimes be a struggle to juggle my education and sports ambitions but so far I'm targeted A's and am hoping to stay on course!
Watch this space for future achievements. I can't wait to see how this season unfolds...
