In exactly one week I will be flying to Brussels with 17 other swimmers to compete at the Flanders Cup. This will be my first long course meet of 2019. The squad is made up of 3 swimmers from the Swim England Performance Squad, British and Scottish Swimming squad members. I think I will be the youngest again although it is my 17th birthday on the Saturday of the competition. This is a 'process' meet so it's more about an improvement in technique and stroke management than times so it will be interesting to hear the Head Coach report when it's over. Am excited as I will be swimming my favourite events, 400 800 and 1500 free.
