Thank you to the Joe Humphries Memorial Trust. I'm half way through my first year at Brooksby College as part of the Mansfield Town FC Performance Group and this will help with my travel expenses and also go towards the new boots I need. I've played football as part of a team now since I was six. As well as training with Mansfield they also encourage us to play outside of college, so I also play for Aylestone Park Youth U18 in the midweek floodlit league. We are currently top of the league! All I've ever wanted to do is play football and really appreciate the opportunity I now have at Brooksby College. Alongside the football I'm also studying a BTEC in Sport and learning all aspects of football including coaching and nutrition, so even if I do not become the next Vardy I could still follow a career in football off the pitch. Again thank you to the Joe Humphries Memorial Trust, I will keep you updated on our league position!
