When competing in Australia for the Great Britain cycle speedway team I played a key role in helping the women's Great Britain team take a 5-0 victory over Australia in the wolrd ashes series, I also qualified for my first women's world final and placed 6th. During my time in Australia I gained a mammoth of experience that I wouldn't have gained otherwise, this has allowed me to advance in cycle speedway where I am now placed at British number 2, European number 4 and Wolrd number 4 to list a few achievements. I have also achieve 2x federation cup winner as part of the GB team, World Cup winner as part of the England team and 2x Ashes series winner as part of the GB team. Recently I have been selected as the women's GB team Vice-captain, without the help of the JHMT i wouldn't have been selected for this role as I wouldnt have been able to go to Australia and would have missed out on key racing development, team building and team bonding.
