Beginning the xmas slog

Training is back in full swing. After an initial niggle for a few weeks after the end of the unusual shortened outdoor season this year training has finally got to a point where I am happy with my current fitness after a slow period of testing the waters and doing lots of strength work to help bullet proof my body. Currently, I am finding training a very fulfilling experience due to the fact weekly I am seeing drastic improvements in fitness weekly after my injury due to mileage gradually increasing and session duration lengthening. Luckily living in a house at university with 5 other student athletes helped maintain motivation levels and keep spirits high so I always had training partners to complete morning runs with so motivation was high in comparison to my competition. Over the coming week I shall head home for Christmas , where I will hope to take full advantage of Leicestershire's hills to progress my running forward and to improve my fitness levels.
