If Leicester Warriors U14s can break the silence on SADS so can you!

On Sunday 4th May 2014 the Leicester Warriors U14s will take the trip to English Institute of Sport Sheffield to play in the end of the season England Basketball Final Fours Competition. In the season 2013/14 they have been crowned Midlands Champions and currently are one of the best 4 youth basketball teams in England.
Many congratulations to coaches Mebs, Arbham and all the players on a great season. Not only are you true Warriors on the basketball court, you're also Warriors by helping JHMT create a much greater awareness about SADS – sudden arrhythmic death syndrome- which claims the lives of between 16 – 18 young people, 12 –35 years old, every week across the UK.
Thank you for such a fabulous gesture by wearing the 'break the silence' advert on your match shirts during the national championships on Sunday. This will send out another powerful message to more people about the dangers of the silent killer and that we will never rest in our efforts to reduce the incidence of sudden, unexpected death in young teenagers and adults.
Wishing you all the very best of luck on Sunday.
