LRS Charity Tour of Brazil

Congratulations to LRS and friends who took part in the LRS Charity Tour of Brazil in aid of JHMT and LOROS. This involved clocking up kilometers and burning up the calories on indoor bikes, indoor rowers, a walk or run around Sport Park Energy Track, led runs (20 mins) and led bike rides (20 mins).
The combined distance covered was 1,334.91km – indicating that England will head out of the World Cup at the Quarter Final stages to date nearly £1,000 was raised which is a mammoth achievement.
LRS still have a couple of fundraising activities running if anyone is interested in taking part which include:
- Silent Auction for a Leicester City FC signed ball – Please submit your Name, Contact Details and Bid to Katie Marron, k.marron@lboro.ac.uk by 5.00pm on Friday 30th May 2014.
- World Cup Prediction Competition – Predict England's route through the World Cup 2014! Only £2 entry. For an application form contact: j.hough@lboro.ac.uk . Both form and entry fee needs to be into LRS by 5.00pm, on Wednesday 11th June 2014.
