Joe's Trust (JHMT) confirmed as one of the three Leicester Tigers club charities for season 2014/15.
'JHMT is delighted to be nominated as one of Leicester Tigers club charities for the 2014/15 season. The club's support will give the JHMT a fantastic platform to raise the awareness levels of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome ( SADS) to a even greater height. The Trust is also keen to ensure the Tigers global fan base and community are better informed about these silent heart conditions which affect young people ( 12 – 35 years old), symptoms, screening and the importance of having the key lifesaving skills (including CPR, and how to use a defibrillator), to save the life of a sudden cardiac arrest victim.'
Steve Humphries – Chair of JHMT
The three official club charities for the 2014/15 season – The Matt Hampson Foundation, The Joe Humphries Memorial Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support – shared the season's opening day with Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on Saturday.
