The popular Sports Fest organised by LCC's sports regeneration unit in partnership with sporting partners and health and well- being agencies from across the city and county was also celebrating its 10 anniversary of providing a galaxy of sporting opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
It was also the place for the Leicester public to get 'Hands On ' CPR and how to use a defibrillator and advice from JHMT's medical group led by Dr Mike Ferguson with support from Dr Ffion Davies and Sue Armstrong, Arrhythmia nurse from GGH & Heartsafe UK trainer.
There was plenty of interest throughout the day and take up from families in particular children and young people who without any hesitation were wanting to have a go on the training aids and learn how a few simple skills could make a huge difference between life and death.
