Biography

My name is Emily I am 14yrs old

I have always been very sporty and enjoy many sports, some for fun and relaxation and others which I play competitively.

Since my first grant I have now moved into LCWFC U16s and was selected for England School girl's u15s squad in Jan 2023. I played in the Bob Doherty Cup over Easter with England schoolgirls in Glasgow.

Most recently I have been selected for English Independent schools u14s to play Wales and invited to u16s ISFA national selection camp.

My main sport is Football, I play for LCWFC academy under 16s this will be my 5th season with Leicester. I am also being observed on the FA England pathway. My football is very costly with equipment, training,1:2 1s, travel as we now play in a London league.

I am very passionate about all sports and the importance of it and how it contributes to all aspects of life.

I also play cricket for a local club and Derbyshire, I am am all-rounder and thoroughly enjoy cricket matches and training. We travel around the Country with my county and this has involved overnight stays and many hours travel.

I also play hockey and netball and have regular strength and conditioning sessions to maintain my strength and look after my muscles as I have recently has a growth spurt.

I also enjoy keeping fit and raising money for local charities.in 2021i ran 60km through March for Marie Curie raising over £1500.

I am very aware of how much time and money my parents give to help me succeed in my sports especially my football and the inspire grant will really help towards this.

I plan to use my 2nd Inspire Grant towards the cost of the 3-day ISFA U16 Selection camp in August at Ardingly College.
