Biography

Hi, my name is George and I have just turned 13. I play badminton for Leicestershire - playing for the U15 and U17 team. In 2019 I became the English National Champion in boys doubles. In 2021 I won a silver medal in the mixed and a bronze in the boys doubles, again at the Nationals. I am currently ranked number 6 in the country for both doubles and mixed. I train 4 times a week at the Leicestershire Performance Centre and once a week at United strengthening and conditioning. My goal is to play for England and to represent them in the olympics 🏸🏸 having the inspire award will help me to train within the Leicestershire Gold programme and to be able to enter more tournaments.
