Biography

Young Georgina Cant, 15 years old, is a member of her local Girl Guides Brigade and has set her sights on travelling to the Girls Guides Cabana World Centre in Mexico in July 2015.

JHMT's Support

Along with guiders from Switzerland, London, India and Mexico, the overall aim of the trip is to help out with key community projects that require a diverse range of skills and talents. Georgina is undaunted by the challenge and is keen to put her guiding skills to best effect.

The trip is self funded and Georgina has wasted no time and set too on numerous fundraising activities including bag packing, cake sales, and sponsored runs. This is without doubt a once in a lifetime opportunity and Georgina was keen to add: 'I'm so thrilled that I have been successful in my application for a JHMT Inspire Award. Every bit helps me get a step closer to reaching my fund raising total which I'm so determined to achieve. Thank you for all your support and helping me along the way.'
