Biography

I've been playing basketball since I was 11 years old for Leicester Riders and now Loughborough College. It's a great game, fast, high scoring and very disciplined and needs good fitness and coordination. It can be played by everyone for fun and more seriously in competition as I've played with my Mum , Dad and two younger brothers and also in leagues.

JHMT's Support

I am getting on really well in both basketball and my studies. It's been quite hard at times being away from home during the week but I've got some new friends and enjoying it. I'm training hard in three early morning session per week and have played in 5 games in the Under 19 NBL for Loughborough College.

On 6th November I scored 4 points with 15 minute game time against Nottingham Academy where we won 64 - 85. I felt that I did well as one the the youngest players driving to the basket and getting the layups. My zone defence was good getting turn overs from Nottingham.

21st November we played Moulton College in Northamptonshire in a cup game and won 60 - 28. I had a good defensive game, scored 6 points, got 3 assists and 3 blocks.

14th November we played in the AoC National Championships in Nottingham where we had 6 games. Won all 6 game, five easily and on by just one point. We are now going to take part Nationally representing the East Midlands playing the other regions across the country.
