Biography
Hiya! My name is Lotta Mansfield and I am an international level cyclist who races Cyclocross, Road and MTB. My love for racing started in 2008 when I did my first race and I have been racing ever since. I currently race for Montezuma's Race Team.
I grew up racing circuit road races, MTB, track and cyclocross and have now specialised into an off road rider. But I still race the road and time trials during the summer!
During the 2020-21 cyclocross season, I got selected to represent Great Britain at the first ever Junior women's cyclocross World Cup in Tabor, Czech Republic where I came 21st. This was such an amazing experience and I loved every moment. I also got selected to represent Great Britain for the European Championships and the World Cup in Namur, Belgium however these both got cancelled due to COVID.
I have raced all over Europe including in the Netherlands, Youth Paris-Roubaix in France, and riding junior and elite cyclocross in Belgium and finally the UEC European MTB Youth Championships in Italy twice.
My best result has to be winning a round of the National MTB series 2021 and winning the Elite MTB and Cyclocross Regional Championships
I have just finished my gap year and I am about to start studying at University of Stirling.
Thank you so much JHMT for awarding me this grant which will help me to develop into the best possible racer I can be!
