What treatments are available to patients with ICC?

Unfortunately, most ICCs are not curable, and treatment is instead aimed at reducing the risk of cardiac arrest in those identified with disease. After assessment of risk using clinical history, family history and results of investigations, the following treatments can be considered depending on the ICC:

a) Lifestyle advice including exercise prescription. This is important in the majority.

b) Medications

c) Ablation procedures

d) Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) in higher risk cases

e) Surgery
